ABSTRACT: OBJECTIVE: To report the experience of tutors’ performance in the Health with Agents Program carried out through the Distance Education (DE) modality for community health workers. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This research is a descriptive and reflective experience report on the performance of tutors in the 2022-2023 edition of the Health with Agents Program. Each tutor was responsible for monitoring 50 students throughout the period of activities in the virtual environment. To perform this function, the tutors underwent training both before the start and throughout the technical course, ensuring continuous training. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: During the process, it was necessary for the tutor to intervene in the group and overcome difficulties. It should be noted that the tutor' s performance played an essential role in supporting the students, stimulating their motivation and enhancing the elements of the learning process. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS: The technical training of professionals in the DE format, in the first edition of the Health with Agents Program, proved to be an effective strategy for training these professionals who work in the Unified Health System, promoting autonomy and professional development.
