ABSTRACT: OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the lifestyle of pregnant women assisted in Primary Health Care in a municipality in the state of Maranhão. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Cross-sectional study, developed with pregnant women from the municipality of Colinas- Maranhão, registered in the UBS. The data were collected using an instrument adapted from the 2019 National Health Survey. They were tabulated in the Microsoft Excel platform and analyzed through descriptive statistics, statistical tests were applied, adopting a significance level of 5% (p ≤ 0.05). It was submitted to the Research Ethics Committee for consideration, obtaining a favorable opinion no. 7,190,228 and CAAE 80564624.6.0000.5554. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: Most pregnant women were between 25 and 32 years old (43.8%), were brown (62.7%), single (52.7%) and did not belong to religious communities (47.9%). Adequate eating habits were predominant in over 90% of participants. However, adherence to physical activity was low, with only 8.3% practicing it daily. Risk behaviors were observed, such as smoking (7.1%) and alcohol consumption in the last month (6.5%). CONCLUSION: Although some pregnant women maintain healthy habits, adherence to physical activity is still a challenge.
