A IMPORTÂNCIA DOS EXERCÍCIOS FISIOTERAPÊUTICOS EM PACIENTES RENAIS CRÔNICOS SUBMETIDOS A HEMODIÁLISE

ABSTRACT: OBJECTIVE: To expose the relevance of the practice of physical therapy exercises in chronic renal patients undergoing intradialytic therapy. METHODS: This is an integrative literature review, carried out in electronic media during the second half of 2021, in five databases: PEDro, SciELO, PubMed, SBN and BVS. Descriptors were used in Portuguese, English and Spanish. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: From a total of 20 studies in the 5 databases, resulting in 3 articles in PEDro, 8 in SciELO, 6 in PubMed, 1 in SBN and 2 in VHL. A total of 7 articles were included, listed below according to their database: 1 from PEDro, 3 from SciELO and 3 from PubMed. CONCLUSION: Physical therapy intervention in hemodialysis clinics improves the functional capacity of chronic renal patients.
