FRAGILIDADES VIVENCIADAS PELO AGENTE COMUNITÁRIO DE SAÚDE NA ABORDAGEM EM CASOS DE VIOLÊNCIA CONTRA MULHER

ABSTRACT: OBJECTIVE: Describe the weaknesses/potentials in the performance of Community Health Agents the violence against women. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This is a descriptive, exploratory research with a qualitative approach. Carried out in the Family Health Strategies (ESF) in the city of Iguatu/CE, from October 2020 to March 2021. The study participants were 70 Community Health Agents from the FHS in the urban area. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: Weaknesses were perceived through failures in the articulation of the coping network, as well as the lack of security of the ACS in the face of reprisals from the aggressor. However, it appears that the CHAs already recognize the unit and health professionals as responsible for assisting women survivors of violence. And that the actions of the CHAs towards women in situations of violence are made up, mainly through light technologies, focused on active listening and based on the victim' s needs. CONCLUSION: It was observed as weaknesses, failures in coping networks, feelings of insecurity and impunity, which make it difficult for this professional to assist the victim. Potential in the use of light technologies characterized by the creation of a bond with the patient and preservation of privacy.
