ABSTRACT: OBJECTIVE: To describe the psychoeducational actions on delirium prevention strategies to the multiprofessional teams of the Intensive Care Units of three State Public Hospitals in Teresina-PI. METHODS: This is a qualitative study, in the form of experience report, which aims to describe psychoeducation interventions in the Multiprofessional Residency in Adult Intensive Care (RIMTIA). RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: The professionals were approached individually and in groups, around 80 professionals participated in the action, and from them, discussions were held on the applicability of delirium prevention measures in the care routine and on the experience of the patients. professionals on the subject. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS: It is concluded that the intervention had a great potential for exchange on the topic of delirium, providing a space for dialogue about perceptions and situations already experienced, another important factor to be highlighted is that, based on the topic discussed, many professionals wish to carry out changes in the ICU in physical aspects and that would take ideas and projects to hospital management.
