ABSTRACT: OBJECTIVE: To discuss the experience during the application of humanization strategies in labor in a Normal Birth Center of
a maternity hospital in the state of Pará. METHODS: This is a descriptive experience report with a qualitative approach,
experienced in May 2026 at the Normal Birth Center of a maternity hospital in the state of Pará. Two obstetric nursing
residents, six students, two preceptor nurses, and approximately eleven pregnant women participated. The experience was
organized by the five stages of the Charles Maguerez Arch, developed in the teaching and care routine. RESULTS AND
DISCUSSION: Some resources were available in some delivery rooms. The results show interest and good acceptance, a
perception recorded by the researchers' observation and the verbal reports of the pregnant women. The ball, walking, position
changes, massage therapy, and music therapy stood out, while aromatherapy showed less receptivity. The importance of the
companion and educational materials in the orientations was also evidenced. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS: The experience made
it possible to apply humanization strategies with resources available in the service and to bring pregnant women closer to
the possibilities of care. The integration between students and professionals favored care focused on the needs and
individuality of women, aligned with the care recommended by the Ministry of Health and the Rede Alyne
